Kyle Belknap
‘To love, to be loved,
and to respect all people’
Kyle
Belknap loved baseball. He loved to play catch with his dad and he
especially loved playing baseball with his teammates. Kyle played
baseball in Rogers from t-ball until he was 13. Although he faced
unfortunate medical problems, Kyle continued to play baseball with
courage and determination. Kyle's life was cut short but Rogers
Youth baseball honors the memory of Kyle each year with the Kyle Belknap
Courage Award. We present this award each year to a deserving player
who has played with the same courage and determination as Kyle.
Kyle’s
motto in life was ‘To love, to be loved, and to respect all
people.’ We all can learn
from Kyle and his love of life and his love of baseball.
